WOYWW273- 3rd time lucky.....

Good morning everyone, I'm back for the 3rd time in a row so I'm feeling lucky.  This is my desk as of 5 mins ago, a couple of cards I'm doing for a class I'm, taking this afternoon.  Its all about lattice, how to make a lattice card using card strips etc.  I just need to finish the grungy one.....

As promised last week , this is my block using the Drunkards Path.  this is a variation called Twisted Path.  the bloke shows you how to make curved squares, not one of my favourites.  I applaud the ladies who make a whole quilt with these blocks
As I will be away for the September block this is my Ohio Star.....For all the T & C and how to join the great blog hop get yourself over to the lovely Julia's.
Have a good day &/or week......

  1. Some lovely things you've shown us today Francesca. Happy woyww Jill #16

  2. I always wondered how the lattice work was created. I thought most use die cut machines. Those curved squares do not look easy to make! Can't imagine creating a whole quilt of them. Diane #32

  3. Love the lattice technique.
Have a great week and happy crafting, Angela x 34

  4. I have been missing my quilting days. Thanks for giving me a peek at your desk this week.

  5. The lattice cards look great for the class, Francesca I'm sure they al enjoyed it.
Your quilting is coming on beautifully, I really don't now how you managed to do the drunkard paths, just looking at it has made my eyes go wonky. Love your Ohio Star. x

  6. Oh it all looks very interesting and I'd love to quilt but there's no way I could fit it into my day just now... plus I can hardly sew a button on ;D
The card looks great and I'm sure will be a winner
Enjoy your day. Happy WOYWW Neesie #43

  7. awesome quilt blocks. That is one hobby I haven't taken up. As a young girl my family recycled a lot of stuff into quilts including torn up old quilts. I don't remember much quilting but tying of the quilts. Love the lattice cards. Hope your class is lots of fun! Vickie #75

  8. Have a great time when you go away. Love the quilting, especially the last one and the card is pretty neat at the top of the blog post. Do like that one.
    Hugs, Neet 14 xx
ps hope mum is still doing well

  9. I love quilts! Yours are beautiful. I made a lattice basket out of paper, it was quite a challenge. thank you for the visit. Robin 73

  10. Hi Francesca, thanks for visiting my messy desk! I love your quilting, especially the drunkard's path! They would look good on cards too. The lattice looks interesting too.
